Originally a graphic design major, Chelsee Husk has an appreciation for precision styling that borders on perfectionism. Her own hair is done with such skill, she occasionally gets asked if she’s wearing a wig; which is how she transitioned from graphic design to hairstyling. While in school, she worked as a salon receptionist. The salon’s stylists were so impressed with her DIY hair, they encouraged her to make it a career - so she did. Today, she specializes in chemical services, like Brazilian Blowouts, and loves doing color and dry cuts. Ironically, the girl who’s been doing hair even before she got her license, owns two hairless Sphynx cats named Lux and Grim.

NICOLE K. SHAFER
With a passion for adventure, travel, exploration, and a great pair of scissors, Nicole K. Shafer's evolution to stylist was a natural progression. From the age of 14 (the age of 5 if you count the ambush trims she gave herself, mom, friends, and phone cord), she loved to cut hair. She's an OC native who began her career here at 19, then moved to Chicago at 21 to continue her hairstyling career. Having returned to Orange County, Nicole is using her well-honed skills to color, cut and style. Taking inspiration from the world around her, Nicole loves to work with talented people who help her to push her skills farther; and travel to foreign destinations that help her to expand her understanding of the world.

Inspired by successful stylists and her co-workers, Jessica’s specialties are balayage, long hair cutting, hair extensions, and creative coloring.

With an appreciation for beachy waves, Beyoncé, Black Sabbath, brunching, and travel, when she’s not at work Sydnee can be found watching live music, working out, eating healthy, or jet-setting on a new adventure.
With more than a decade in the industry, Emma takes inspiration from the spectrum of her life. Favorite celebrity hairstyles include Bernadette Peters, Juliette Lewis, and Stevie Knicks. And, when she’s not styling or doing creative color, she can be found indulging in other pursuits such as sewing, embroidery, hiking, camping, motorcycle adventuring, and mountain biking.

Inspired by client stories of overcoming hardships and facing difficult odds, she seeks to challenge herself creatively everyday. She loves Kate Moss’ ability to do next-day bedhead with incomparable style and specializes in taking clients’ hair next level with balayage or soft ombre coloring techniques.
Today, Shay’s an advanced educator with Toni & Guy, but she’s been cutting and coloring hair, doing make-up for as long as she can remember. Practicing on cousins as a little girl, she made her way to cosmetology school after a stint considering a degree in psychology. Passionate about fixing things that aren’t working for her clients’ hair, she’s maintained her desire to help people’s mental health her own way: with scissors and skill. Exceptionally strong in technical haircuts, Shay utilizes her expertise to teach stylists in the craft as well as perfect her own client’s hair. Inspired by music, art, fashion, and talented peers, she loves learning new things from different hairdressers. She’s a mom to an amazing daughter, a yogi, and artist, and still waiting for Eddie Vedder to propose.
